What is going wrong?
Reports are anonymous and unverified, and each visitor can report once every 30 minutes. They show how many people say they are affected, not why.
If Google is not loading for you
- Try the website in a private window, which rules out extensions and old cookies.
- If email will not send or load, check the service’s own status page, since mail can fail while the website still loads.
- Make sure your device’s date and time are set automatically, because a wrong clock breaks secure sign-in.
- Disable VPNs and ad blockers for a moment and reload.
- If an AI tool is slow or showing errors, it is often under heavy load. Waiting a few minutes usually helps.

Questions about Google
Is Google down right now?
Look at the live status box at the top of this page. It shows the result of our latest automatic check of google.com, repeated every few minutes. If it says the site is up but things still fail for you, the problem is probably on your side or limited to one feature or region.
Why is Google not working for me when it works for others?
A site can fail for some people and not others because of DNS caching, regional servers, your internet provider, a firewall or VPN, or a problem with your device or app. Our guide on why a website can be down for some people and not others explains how to tell which one it is.
How do I report a problem with Google?
Use the report buttons on this page and choose what is going wrong. Reports are anonymous and unverified, and each visitor can report once every 30 minutes. They are shown as a chart so you can see whether other people are having the same problem.
How does siteupdown.com check Google?
Our server loads google.com every few minutes, the way a browser would, and records the response code and how long it took. A site is only called down after two server errors in a row. Our page on how the checks work has the details.
