Is Reddit down?
These are the servers the Reddit app talks to. If they answer, the servers are reachable, but that does not prove everything inside the app is working, such as messages, feeds or logins. For in-app problems, see what other visitors are reporting below.
Reddit is a collection of topic-based communities where people post, discuss and vote on content.
Are other people having problems with Reddit?
What is going wrong?
Reports are anonymous and unverified, and each visitor can report once every 30 minutes. They show how many people say they are affected, not why.
If Reddit is not loading for you
- Open the website version if the app is failing, or the app if the website is. Outages often hit only one of them.
- Check whether photos, videos or messages fail while text still loads. Partial outages are common on social platforms.
- Log out and back in, then restart the app. Clearing the app’s cache can fix a feed that will not refresh.
- Try mobile data instead of Wi-Fi, or the other way round, to rule out your network.
- Look at the company’s official support or status account on another platform for an outage notice.

Questions about Reddit
Is Reddit down right now?
Look at the live status box at the top of this page. It shows the result of our latest automatic check of reddit.com, repeated every few minutes. If it says the site is up but things still fail for you, the problem is probably on your side or limited to one feature or region.
Why is Reddit not working for me when it works for others?
A site can fail for some people and not others because of DNS caching, regional servers, your internet provider, a firewall or VPN, or a problem with your device or app. Our guide on why a website can be down for some people and not others explains how to tell which one it is.
How do I report a problem with Reddit?
Use the report buttons on this page and choose what is going wrong. Reports are anonymous and unverified, and each visitor can report once every 30 minutes. They are shown as a chart so you can see whether other people are having the same problem.
How does siteupdown.com check Reddit?
Our server loads reddit.com every few minutes, the way a browser would, and records the response code and how long it took. A site is only called down after two server errors in a row. Our page on how the checks work has the details.
